Three friends come to terms with life, love and loss in this enjoyable thirty something romance. Katherine is a single, gorgeous, wears coordinated underwear, and has perfected a glare that will drop a hopeful male at 100 paces. Tara is plump, desperate to settle down, and locked in a relationship with a right bastard because she figures it's better than having no man at all. Fintan is gay, in a solid relationship, and seemingly the only one who has it together - until he's struck down with a life-threatening illness. Then the established order starts to crumble, and each of the friends is forced to face their fears, and reassess what's really important in life. Frothy, fun, and with the occasional real insight, this is a great girly read.
