This romantic confection left more than a few million viewers hooked when it debuted in 1999. It also proved there was more to Letitia Dean than playing bar-maid Sharon in EastEnders. Now she is back in Albert Square, this show has gained an added curiosity value.
"It's light-hearted fun," she remarked when the show debuted."Sam (Loggin) is the lead and that is quite nice as it takes the pressure off. You don't feel like you are at the front all the time." One scene in the script did involve her character, Charlotte, whipping her bra off. "I went into a complete flap when I read that."
However, the whole thing was tastefully shot and thanks to some tape in just the right areas, Letitia managed to hide her blushes. The gorgeous Frances Tomelty also stars.
