Marian Keyes has written eight books, but her latest, "The Other Side of the Story" (William Morrow, $24.95, 528 pages), is her best yet. It centers on three women: JoJo, a literary agent who is having an affair with a married man; Lily, a writer whose first book becomes a sensation; and Gemma, whose father has just left her mother for another woman. Switching masterfully among three seemingly separate stories that end up to be anything but, Keyes employs her trademark humor, description and fast-paced plot to make this book compelling and satisfying. Plus, her take on the publishing industry -- as experienced by all three women -- is priceless.
