And So This is Christmas
"My best Christmas was last year. My boyfriend and I had just got engaged and I was delighted. On the Aer Lingus flight home from London, I waved my sparkler around so much that the man beside me said, 'Mind me eye!;
"I'm engaged! I screeched at my parents across the arrivals hall."
'What's wrong with him?' asked my mother.
"My worst Christmas ever might well be this one. I'm getting married four days after Christmas and I want to be thin, get thee behind me, selection box!
"The next time I'm getting married, I'm bloody well going to do it on Easter Saturday."
